Lets see, to
start with I am a certified veterinary technician, by schooling and
trade. I completed my Veterinary Assistant Diploma from The
Professional Career Development Institute. I have had the honor of
working with some great veterinarians over the past 6 years. Along with
great clinical experience, I also have quite a bit of volunteering
under my belt. I'm an active volunteer with a couple Animal Rescue
Organizations. I proudly donate my time, experience, knowledge and
care.
Not only do I have veterinary clinic experience, but I have grooming
and boarding facility experience as well.
In my spare time I am an avid dog show handler and trainer. There are a
few weekends every year that I will be unavailable, so that I may
compete in a dog show. Usually only 3-4 per year, sometimes more,
sometimes less. Currently, I do Conformation Shows and Weight
Pull Competitions with the U.K.C. (United Kennel Club) and the A.K.C.
(American Kennel Club). I look forward to begining some obedience
and/or agility trials in the future.
I have had pets all of my life, in fact there are few that I have not
had! Growing up I showed Lambs for FFA. We had dogs, cats, reptiles,
bunnies, fish and every thing in between! I'm a very caring and
nurturing person, and I guess I always needed pets to care for and
nurture.
This is just me! My life revolves around animals, and I wouldn't trade
it for anything in the world!
I truly enjoy meeting new pets and
providing care for them.
I have a wonderful fiance, Gerald, who I have been with for the past 7
plus years. We do not have any children, just our dogs, LOL. He
finished his Bachelor's degree in 2004, and I hope to finish mine in
2008. The after that, we look forward to starting our family.
